The Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association will be hosting a networking dinner on November 21, 2014 at 6:00PM. The dinner will be held at District Oven, a Halal restaurant that was distinguished as one of Toronto’s 25 Hottest Restaurants for 2014 by Now Toronto.
Tickets may be purchased here. All proceeds from the dinner will be used to support the CMLA’s Legal Advocacy Committee. As recently announced, the CMLA has been granted leave to intervene before the Supreme Court of Canada in the case of Latif et al v. Bombardier Inc. Faisal Mirza, Chair of the CMLA’s Legal Advocacy Committee, will briefly address guests on the work of the Legal Advocacy Committee and will be taking suggestions as to future directions on CMLA’s involvement in legal advocacy.
